Welcome To My Capstone Project
Knowledge Is Power
Medical Clinic
Description and Aspiration
My aspiration of this clinic is the scarcity of efficient medical facilities in my hometown. It is a single-story building that is planned to be located in my village in Mexico. The purpose of this clinic is to make a difference and to decrease the mortality rate of diseases and other conditions that are left untreated on my hometown due to lack of transportation, money, or any sort healthcare. The goal of my capstone project is to be able take in and treat even the most critical of patients, so I embedded a surgical room in the clinic that is capable of functioning like a surgical room of any hospital. There is also other rooms that will be specifically for testing, check-ups and lab.
This is something that I actually intend of doing in the future. From there I will move onto other places where they also need efficient medical facilities and so on.

Projects
Other work I have done
Over the four years I have been in the architecture and engineering program I have done rigorous projects and competitions. Competitions like AIA and NAWIC which are architecture drafting competitions. Four years in Architecture has taught me to be ambitious, have initiative, be assertive, work collaboratively with other in projects that require collaboration with others. I've learned to think critically and manipulate my creativity in order to create buildings from scratch.
About Me
I am a senior at Southeast Career Technical Academy. My GPA weighted is currently at a 4.2. I majored in Architecture and Engineering and for my fourth year I dived into Advanced Studies. Furthermore, I lettered in one sport, Tennis Varsity. I also gained experience in computer software like Revit, AutoCad, and Adobe Photoshop.
Although I majored in Architecture, I will be studying Biology in college. On my fourth year at Southeast tech I was given the opportunity to take a class only offered to people in the Nursing Program and I took it to gain experience. The class was challenging since I skipped two years of preparation for the class but it turned out great and it made me more passionate about going into the medical field. I certainly gained experience and I feel more prepared for the future.
During these 4 years of studies at Southeast tech, I have found various subjects that interest me and working alongside my fellow companions has made it absolutely memorable. Without a doubt I feel more prepared to continue on my journey to college and adulthood.
